1. About GoodConvos
GoodConvos, LLC (“GoodConvos,” “we,” “us”) operates GoodConvos. You can contact us at support@goodconvos.org.
GoodConvos helps people meet others in their communities through small meetups. Community organizers and participants arrange and run the meetups. GoodConvos does not host or supervise them.
You must accept these Terms to participate. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Accepting these Terms does not give us consent for optional marketing or the use of sensitive personal information.
2. Accounts and participation
You must be at least 18 years old. Give us accurate information and keep your email account and sign-in links secure. Tell us if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission. If you act for an organization, you must have its authority to do so.
You are responsible for your conduct and meetup arrangements. We cannot guarantee who you will be matched with, whether others will attend, or the conduct or safety of other participants.
Organizers manage their communities and must have authority to use information they upload. They are responsible for lawful community questions, explaining their uses and audiences, and obtaining required permissions.
3. Acceptable use
Do not harass, threaten, unlawfully discriminate, impersonate others, send spam or share unlawful content. Do not misuse personal information, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
Do not use automated tools to collect member information or overload the service without our permission. Report misuse to support@goodconvos.org. GoodConvos is not an emergency service.
4. Your content and our software
You keep ownership of your content. You must have the right to submit it. You give us non-exclusive permission to store, process, copy and display it as needed to run GoodConvos, including through our service providers. This permission is subject to our Privacy Policy and your sharing choices. After deletion, we can keep or use content only within the exceptions described in that policy.
GoodConvos and its licensors own the software and branding.
5. AI, other services and payments
AI suggestions and messages can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check factual claims before relying on them. Services you choose to use, such as WhatsApp and Google Calendar, have their own terms and privacy policies.
If we offer paid features, we will explain the price, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before you buy. We will not charge you without your agreement. These Terms do not limit consumer rights that the law protects.
6. Ending access
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, commit fraud, create a security or safety risk, or if the law requires it. We will give any notice required by law. Community organizers can manage access to their own communities.
You can stop using GoodConvos at any time. To request account deletion, contact support@goodconvos.org. Leaving a community does not delete your account.
The rules on content ownership, responsibility for earlier misuse and liability continue to apply after access ends, to the extent allowed by law.
7. Availability and liability
We provide GoodConvos “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, we do not give warranties about the service. We may change or discontinue it and cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We will give any notice required by law. Your protected consumer rights still apply.
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for the independent actions of participants or organizers, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from the service. Our total liability to you for claims arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the fees you paid GoodConvos in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow us to limit. They do not limit consumer rights that the law protects.
8. Changes and disputes
If we change these Terms, we will publish the revised Terms and their effective date. We will notify you or ask you to agree again where the law requires it.
Contact support@goodconvos.org about disputes. You can bring a claim in a court that has authority to hear it. These Terms do not require private arbitration or limit consumer protections that apply to you. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply where the law allows.
